OBJECTIVES OF THE CORPORATION

• Structured Training of women in vocational courses and trades through Durgabai Mahila Sisu Vikasa Kendrams (DMSVKs)
• Training of ICDS functionaries and Adolescent Girls.- AWTC
• Facilitating Marketing to Women entrepreneurs through exhibitions, trade fairs, and buyer seller meets, design and display centers, etc. and Taruni Brand on franchise
• Management of Working Women’s Hostels.
• Serves as a Nodal Agency for processing the proposals of NGOs for setting up of Women Empowerment Programmes with the financial assistance of GOI and Monitoring the Implementation of these programmes.
